Thematic fields of interest/research areas: Late Palaeolithic and Mesolithic archaeology; technology, settlement patterns, social organisation and ritual behaviour of Late Palaeolithic and Mesolithic groups; mountain archaeology especially referred to hunter-gatherer societies

Research infrastructures:
Laboratory of lithic technology: from raw material determination to use-wear studies; availability for study of archaeological materials from Late Palaeolithic and Mesolithic north-Italian key-sites (Riparo Tagliente, Malga Staulanza, Mondeval de Sora, Sorgenti del Sile).
