Valentina Mini
Valentina Mini is an Adjunct Professor of Statistics, Advanced Statistics and Statistics for Economics and Business at the University of Ferrara (Italy) and a Researcher at UNINETTUNO International University (Rome).
She has an MSc in Economics of Public Administrations and International Institution from the University of Ferrara (Italy), an MSc in Social Research Methods and Statistics from the University of Manchester (UK), and a Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Ferrara (Italy). She developed a research interest in spatial economics and territorial competitiveness from her experience at the University of California, Los Angeles, driving her collaborations with UNIDO and OECD. She has been Adjunct Professor at Franklin University (Switzerland) and at the Università della Svizzera Italiana (USI, Switzerland). In Switzerland, she coordinated the Observatory of Economic Policy (O-POL) and the Observatory of Labour Market (O-LAV). She collaborates with public and private entities to evaluate and support projects on both formal education and Long-Life Learning: INAPP Erarmus+, Interreg (FVG), Fondo Forte, Fondo Professioni, and Fonter. She is a member of the Scientific Committee of the UNESCO Lucca Learning City. She has been individuated as an expert for the Ministry of Education for the needs related to the implementation of the PNRR (context of "State accounting and public finance"). She has various publications in international journals, as well as contributions to books. Currently, she is working on the relationship between education, skills and growth.
