Research infrastructures:
  • X-Ray Diffraction Laboratories (powder diffractometers equipped with 1D or 0D solid state detector, high temperature capillary furnace, humidity chamber; access to single-crystal diffractometer with low and high temperature environments)
  • Thermo-Gravimetry Laboratory
  • Chemistry Laboratory
  • access to Electron Microscopy Laboratory (SEM-EDS)
  • access on collaborative basis to many Laboratories for Geochemical Analyses (XRF-WDS, XRF-EDS, EMPA, ICP-MS, ICP-OES, EA-IRMS, IC, LWIA)
  • access on collaborative basis to Spectroscopy Laboratories (UV-Vis, FT-IR, Raman)
  • access on the public beamtime allocation program to Synchrotron Radiation Facilities (XRD, XAS, X-ray micro-CT, etc.)

 

Prerequisites of the trainee researcher:

Level of education: "Marie Curie Individual Fellowship” Action requirements

Research experience: Mineral Sciences / Material Sciences / Solid-State Chemistry / Hard-Condensed Matter

Required working language: English
