Evolution of circadian rhythms in vertebrates.
Short description of the research team
Thematic fields of interest/research areas: Evolution of circadian rhythms in vertebrates
Manager/head of the team: Cristiano BERTOLUCCI
Team members: Tyrone LUCON Xiccato, Elena FRIGATO, Giulia MONTALBANO.
Research infrastructures:
Our laboratory has all equipments to perform a research program in animal chronobiology such as environmental rooms to maintain animals in controlled photo-thermoperiodic conditions, set ups to record behavioural activity (Noldus DanioVision and Ethovision), and facilities for animal breeding and reproduction. Furthermore, we have fully equipped laboratories for molecular biology, cell culture, and microscopy to investigate the molecular circadian clock mechanism..
Prerequisites of the trainee researcher:
Level of education: “Marie Curie Individual Fellowship” Action requirements.
Research experience: N/A
Required working language: English
