The objective of the course is to provide students with the appropriate tools to understand the functioning of productive sectors, from the point of view of both internal dynamics (firm strategies, resources and competencies) and external dynamics (public policy in particular). The course examines both horizontal and vertical issues relating to productive sector analysis. Horizontal issues are issues common to all sectors, such as determinants of value creation, strategic thinking and anticipating rivals' strategies.
