Training objectives
- Develop and deepen knowledge about: a) corporate financial needs, dynamics and coverage; optimisation problems; b) bank-firm relationships management; c) basic finance operations, corporate and structured finance; d)Banks within Financial System (management principles; economic and financial equilibrium)
Prerequisites
- Basics of corporate finance, financial institutions and markets
Course programme
- Bank-firm relationship. Corporate financial needs (15 hours): dynamics and coverage; financial structure optimisation. Bank credit grants analysis and management; short and medium-long term grants.
The coverage of long term financial needs (5 hours): market debt and syndicated loans.
Corporate finance operations (15 hours): markets and intermediaries; IPO, stock exchanges floating and firm evaluation; Private Equity and Venture Capital; project finance; securitisations.
Commercial banks: Functions, Management, Economic and financial coordinations (20 ore) Didactic methods
- Lectures/In class exercises.
Learning assessment procedures
- Written exam to verify the theoretical knowledge of the topics of the course
