Training objectives
- The course aims at providing student with the skills to analyse some of the most relevant topics recently discussed in macroeconomics, with reference both to short run and long run analysis.
Prerequisites
- Basic knowledge in microeconomics and macroeconomics are required.

- Part 1 (24 hours)
Recent macroeconomic trends. International capital mobility and financial integration
Part 2 (24 hours)
Open economy macroeconomics - Monetary integration and EMU
Part 3 (24 hours)
Economic growth - Growth models. Economic policy for growth Didactic methods
- Lectures and workshops
Learning assessment procedures
- Final written
Optional oral examination.
The course exam is devoted to test the level of achievement of the previously indicated training objectives. The exam consists of open-ended questions aiming at verifying the knowledge of the topics of the course.
The final grade is the sum of the scores of all questions. To pass The exam the student must obtain a minimum score of 18 out of 31. Reference texts
