Training objectives
- The course deals with principles of Italian, European and International Environmental Law, with a specific attention to the circular economy. The analysis will also focus on the role of intellectual property for supporting technologies which can reduce environmental harms.
Prerequisites
- Fundamental principles of Private Law, Business Law and Public Law. Good command of English language.
Course programme
- The first part of the course deal with:
- Principles of Italian, European and International Environmental Law;
- European Strategy for the Circular Economy;
The second part of the course deals with the analysis of the role of intellectual property for supporting technologies for reducing environmental harms. Didactic methods
- The teaching method is based on a sinergy between theoretical analysis and discussion of practical cases.
Learning assessment procedures
- Final oral exam on the topics covered in class.
