Laura Ramaciotti
Laura Ramaciotti is a professor of applied economics, Professor of Innovation Policies and Economics and Business Administration with a depth experience in the third mission, technology transfer, innovation policies, and start-up creation.
She was born in 1972 and graduated in Economics at Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna in 1997. She is currently a Full Professor of Applied Economics at Unife, of which she has directed the Department of Economics and Management since 2018, and is President of the Futuro in Ricerca Consortium. She is also a member of the Monitoring Committee of the Regional Operational Plan (ROP) European Social Fund (ESF) and Regional Economic and Development Fund (ERDF) of the Emilia-Romagna Region and VicePresident of the Italian Association of University Incubators and Business Plan Competitions (PNI cube). In her research, institutional and managerial activities she has always dealt with policies for the enhancement of public research and Third Mission, economics for science and the dynamics of Open Science, intellectual property and innovative entrepreneurship.
From November 2021 Laura Ramaciotti is the first female Rector in the history of the University of Ferrara.
