THE COURSE IN BRIEF (WHY TO APPLY TO PHARMACEUTICAL CHEMISTRY AND TECHNOLOGY)
The five-year Master’s Degree Course in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology (CTF) is intended to ensure the scientific and professional training that thanks to a strong multidisciplinary character will enable the future graduates to work in different areas of the pharmaceutical industry such as the design, formulation, production and control of medicines. A Master’s Degree in CTF gives the opportunity to accede to II level Masters or Doctorate Degrees, as well to the pharmacist profession. Of note, the 80% of graduates with a job after one year since the achievement of the degree considers its academic background very useful to face the professional life (ALMALAUREA interviews 2017). The Master’s Degree Course in CTF provides a training progress promoted by highly skilled teachers able to support each individual student (both in ordinary teaching and during the final thesis) thanks to a favourable student-teacher ratio. For this reason, the maximum number of eligible students to attend the first year is 130. This guarantees the quality of teaching methods and the student learning processes. CTF belongs to the Graduation Class LM-13 Pharmacy and Industrial Pharmacy, is provided by the Department of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences and refers to the educational system activated under the D.M. 270/2004.
