Training objectives
- We study the mathematical model governing the motions of a continuous body, from both mathematical and physical view point.
From mathematical view point
we introduce the well question for
elastic and viscoelastic fluids.
We introduce the
variational formulation and the energy theorem for one continuous: elastic body, incompressible, comprressible fluid, viscoelastic fluid.
From physical view point
we study problems such the stability of basic steady motions for fluids, elastic body, viscoelastic fluids.
Finally we study the circulatory apparatus of human body and formulate mathematical model suitable to set
the problem problema della formation of aneurism. Prerequisites
- Knowledge of analytic geometry, linear algebra, functional analysis.
