Deepening theoretical principles and critical tools, students will be guided to build a framework of knowledge concerning enhancement of cultural assets to theoretical, critical and analytical support of industrial design. Through the development of methodological tools, drawing practice, models creation and direct verification, the course will allow students to develop an autonomous and independent design practice (related to knowledge, understanding, skills and abilities) making concepts related to the enhancement of some specific case study realization of 3D unique carved hangers systems and details devoted to the artifact's exhibit in some european museums collections, and some particular double face paintings of Museum of Contemporary Art, University of São Paulo, Brazil starting from the model of the real artifact

The course in Design Theory and Criticism will focus on museum design enhancement of cultural heritage with particular reference to the curatorial project and the metaproject of training and communication. Didactical activity will be finalized to transfer theoretical principles, critical tools and analysis methods, selection and arrangement of collections of historical evidences and artifacts.
A further objective of course will concern the growth of students about full awareness of complexity of design enhancement with a systemic approach, positioned in the cultural scenarios of contemporary life, more than ever fluid and composite.
