Course programme
- The course offers an introduction to the relationship between science and society and especially to the models and practices of scientific communication. An examination of various kinds of communication (texts, images, videos, etc.) will be carried out with a special focus on natural risks, health and climate change.
THIS PROGRAMME IS VALID UNTIL FEBRUARY 2024 Didactic methods
- Lectures with the use of ppt slides, the analysis of primary sources and the discussion of examples of scientific communication.
Learning assessment procedures
- Written examination on the the authors and models of scientific communication (objectives 1 and 2) and on specific examples of scientific communication (objectives 3 and 4).
