Training objectives
- Students will reach A2-level knowledge of French. At the end of the course, students will understand short, simple texts containing the most common words. They will be able to communicate in everyday situations with commonly-used expressions and elementary vocabulary.

Course programme
- The contents of the lessons held by native language teachers concern the didactic units of the reference manual aimed at introducing the grammatical and cultural elements of the French language.
Didactic methods
- Lessons held by native language teachers (second semester). Since lessons will be highly interactive, students are advised to attend classes as frequently as possible.
All course materials and information will be uploaded on Google Classroom (access code: sm4l2h3).
Unattending students are invited to take advantage of books available at the Linguistic Center (CLA) for self-learning purposes. Learning assessment procedures
- The final exam consists in two written tests:
1) Grammar test;
2) Comprehension test of a A2-level text. Reference texts
- Reference manual (MANDATORY for all students): Marie-Noelle Cocton, Luca Giachino, Carla Baracco, Pas à pas, nuova edizione, Zanichelli, 2020 (vol. 1).
