Training objectives
- The aim of the course is to introduce the student to the epistemological and methodological foundations of clinical psychology, through an analysis of the main basic and applied constructs of the discipline.
The course is divided into two parts characterized by specific objectives: a first part will focus on the relationship and relevance of early relationships in the understanding of Human psychic functioning.
In the second part, particular attention will be devoted to the study of family relationships and of the plurality of the family/parenting models with specific reference to the foster, adoptive family, to foster care and y family with homosexual parents
Finally, particular attention will be paid to the methodology of the analysis of the application through the study of cases, workshops and group activities.
Prerequisites
- It is required a basic knowledge of mind functioning from a psycho dynamic perspective

Clinical Psychology: Theoretical and Interpretative models
Clinical Psychology and Psychopathology
Clinical Development and Relationship disorders
Family relationships: Functional and dysfunctional dynamics
Parenthood and plurality of family/parenting models
The analysis of the application in clinical psychology
Interview conducts in educational contexts.
B. Understanding and capacity for application
Students will demonstrate the ability to combine the theoretical-methodological knowledge learned in the analysis of the question of the concrete cases that will be able to meet in educational-scholastic fields. Didactic methods

The test will be carried out with open questions of deepening, verification of the applied comprehension and the autonomy of judgement and through the exercise on clinical cases.
The evaluation will be carried out on the basis of the student's ability to apply the theoretical acquisitions acquired with the study and participation in the lessons; On the exhibition capacity and the skills of reworking in a personal key of the knowledge acquired.
The overall evaluation, expressed in thirtieth, derives from the sum of the evaluations of the individual replies. The single answer is considered sufficient (18/30) if it has non-serious imperfections.
