Training objectives
- The lessons are focused on the following Knowledge and competences:
A) Knowledge in discipline:
.Knowledge of psychodynamic development to promote understanding of the fundamental needs that characterize the different stages of development.
.By using a interactive/constructionist approach to be able to analyze the protective functions of various developmental context.
.To provide the theoretical basis to understand the significance of symbolic parenting that support the fostering process of abused minors removed from the abusing family.
B) Know how and capabilities
The student will be capable of understanding the signals, using context and behavior, that indicate a violation of the minor’s relational rights, and will also acquire the ability of planning intervention for protecting minors who have suffered abuse within a dysfunctional family contexts.
C) soft skills
• develop analitic skills on psychodinamic processes
• being able to employ psychological methologies to analyse the human complexity
• being able to write scientific report on the issues tackled by the discipline. Prerequisites
- It is required a basic knowledge of mind functioning from a psycho dynamic perspective
Course programme
- Fundamental development process in a contextualist framework
The fundamental developmental rights of minors: right to safety, protection, development of the self, exploration.
Values and problems related to the aspects of the reception of abused minors
Competence and structuring of the social operators in supporting the children and families involved in the fostering process.
The healing process of damaged relationships.
Training and supervision of operators and families that work and host abused minors Didactic methods
- On line lessons; discussions with forum, video and narrative texts. Conferences, and panel discussions with experts
Learning assessment procedures
- Written test for attending students.
Oral test for non attending students
The test, for both of them, will be carried out with open questions of deepening, verification of the applied comprehension and the autonomy of judgement .
The evaluation will be carried out on the basis of the student's ability to apply the theoretical acquisitions acquired with the study and participation in the lessons; On the exhibition capacity and the skills of reworking in a personal key of the knowledge acquired.
The overall evaluation, expressed in thirtieth, derives from the sum of the evaluations of the individual replies. The single answer is considered sufficient (18/30) if it has non-serious imperfections. Reference texts
