Training objectives
- The first internship, which takes place in parallel within the institutions and universities, has the objective of knowledge of the working contexts Professional Educator (EP). The student gradually acquires the knowledge of the main areas of intervention of the EP and other professionals who work and relate with the EP.
As part of the first internship it is also required students to experience and recognize the main elements of the EP relational competence, with particular reference to the ability to recognize the relationship dynamics. Prerequisites

Course programme
- The teaching program is divided as follows:
A) WORK IN THE INTERNSHIP
- Knowledge of the context
- User knowledge and needs
- Knowledge of other professional and professional interactions figures
- The educational intentionality
- The educational relationship and relationships in intra and inter institutional contexts
It will be established for regular meetings among the Tutor of the University, the student and the host organization Supervisors (definition of the training contract, midterm, final evaluation). At the end of direct experience in the internship you are requested a report.
B) WORK IN CLASSROOM
- Methods and techniques of analysis of contexts defining the observation levels, construction of data collection grids, shared exhibition of works
- Methods and user analysis techniques: the recognition of individual needs in the process of defining the goals for the group
- Methods and techniques of educational intervention: the educational intentionality as EP action tool
- The relational competence of the EP; analysis of the relationships developed in the training experience: the EP's point of view
C) SUPERVISION LIVED
Students are guaranteed by psychologists at the University meetings of the experienced supervision group (mandatory activities, not evaluative). Didactic methods
- The whole piece of work within the internship locations is based on experiential learning (learning by doing), which finds its fulfillment with the reflexivity work implemented with the internship tutor, through moments of collective elaboration and in small group (through processes of co-construction of interpretative models), and individual processing stages: laboratories where training is built with the student in a circular process.
Learning assessment procedures
- The tools to assisgn the evaluation are varied and the final vote, out of thirty, it is the combination of all of the following:
-a self-evaluation form to fill out the student
-an evaluation board that compiles the supervisor of the internship office
-a final evaluation meeting at the headquarters of Joint internship student, supervisor and tutor
-an evaluation of the internship report or the collection of materials that the student produces during the internship experience
-an assessment made by the tutors on the reworking of the course of the internship
The overall assessment of course is based on learning outcomes achieved during the internship experience in office, the learning outcomes achieved in classroom work and evaluation of written materials. Reference texts
