- Practical training with progressive acquisition of autonomy on the part of the student in the various healthcare services under tutor guidance (general 1: 1 ratio)
Use of learning contracts (and self-appraisal) in practical training and performance indices for the assessment/self appraisal of skills.
Use of tools for specific learning of skills (physiotherapy file with sections for reflection and clinical reasoning)
Briefing/debriefing (before, during and at the end of training)

- INTERNSHIP: The assessment consists of:
-a training evaluation by the internship tutor, via the compilation of the learning contract for one of the required training placements (in the field of musculoskeletal, neurological or geriatric); the training evaluation will be changed into a certificated assessment-
- a certificated evaluation of two reports of clinical cases (in musculoskeletal, neurological or pediatric area), evaluated by a committee formed by the Director of Education, by the Coordinator of the year and two expert tutors in the specific field.
To the internships and report is assigned a score of thirty/30.
The partial internship grade results from the weighted average of the individual evaluations.
INTERNSHIP EXAMINATION: the examination for the evaluation of competences foreseen for the third year, is organized in three different times:
- a written exam in which students are asked to evaluate the performance of an adult neurological patient through observation of a video
- a written exam in which students are asked to evaluate the performance of a pediatric patient through observation of a video
-a practical exam, usually performed on the simulated patient (another student) or real patient with musculoskeletal problems.
Each test will be evaluated by a committee formed by the Director of Education, by the Coordinator of the year and two expert physiotherapists in the respective fields. The rating for each performance results from the sum of the scores assigned to each criterion of the evaluation provided by a special evaluation grid.
The final grade emerges from the weighted average of partial scores of the four internships and the score in the internship examination. Reference texts
