ORAL HYGIENE TECHNIQUES IN PATIENTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS
1. CBL, PBL provides for the analysis of situations and complex problems and identifying possible options for solving them. The case is prepared by the teacher and can result from a real situation. The discussion occurs in a context of comparison between the different positions taken by individual students and / or from different subgroups. This type of methodology is valid for developing complex cognitive abilities.
2. Exercise for small groups with material provided by the teacher (eg a scientific article), looking for answers and solutions to questions posed with the aim of stimulating interaction between the teacher and students and an active participation of students. This method allows the development of intellectual skills, interpersonal skills such as listening, communication, leadership and discussion, useful when working in a team.
3. ROLE PLAYING. It includes an activity that requires students to represent some roles of interaction between them, while other students and tutors acting as observers, or a particular professional situation. Useful mainly for the acquisition of communication skills.

- SCIENCE AND TECHNIQUES OF ORAL HYGIENE APPLIED TO THE COMMUNITY
Written exam, with multiple choice. 45 questions with 3 different answers to select. Test will take 60 minutes. Score 0.67 will be assigned to every right answer. Score 0 will be assigned to wrong or no answer. You need at least score 18 to pass the examination.
PATHOLOGICAL ANATOMY
Oral examination usually based on two questions: a question about diseases of organs and apparatus not including the oral cavity/salivary glands, a question about diseases of the oral cavity/salivary glands. The evaluation is elaborated with particular attention to the student’s ability to develop and critically link the notions learned from the subjects previously studied (normal anatomy, physiology, general pathology).
ORAL HYGIENE TECHNIQUES IN PATIENTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS
Formative assessments ongoing weekly with briefings at the beginning of class in order to obtain effective feedback. The final summative evaluation includes a written examination with three open-ended questions. The score of thirty is formulated by adding the scores (0 to 10) obtained in the answer to every single question. The assessment is positive when it exceeds 18/30.
THE FINAL GRADE IS A WEIGHTED AVERAGE OF THE MARKS OBTAINED IN EACH TESTS. Reference texts
