Training objectives
- Capacity to ensure proper ethical behavior and ethically , also in relation to aspects of humanization of care and the rules governing nursing practice .
Promote the protection of human rights in a ' multicultural perspective in compliance with the physical , psychological, social and spiritual needs of each individual as a human being .
Accept the responsibilities of the professional practice by recognizing their own fields of competence and arguing with ethical discernment the motivations behind such behavior
Know the main bioethical positions in relation to the fundamental moments of life ( birth, death ) and possible interactions with the contemporary scientific and technological progress in the health sector. Prerequisites
- Knowledge on the concept of health and illness , communication systems and the therapeutic relationship , the operating mechanisms of the care process and the general concepts of ethics.
Course programme
- Ethics as " looking good" and " reflection on the right behavior . " Challenges from the new powers of intervention on life : how to determine the limit of human intervention ?
Where it begins and where it ends the life and scientific progress as the technology has changed these boundaries obtaining a new identification of the human subject ?
The nursing action and its contents bioethical relative to the beginning of life , the choices in the end of life , experimentation and genetic engineering. Didactic methods
- Lectures, the seminars on other topics of interest from students
Learning assessment procedures
- Depth written report by at least 6-10 folders on a topic of interest among those treated in the classroom
