Training objectives
- On completion of the course the student is expected to have acquired advanced knowledge on nursing documentation.
Prerequisites
- Knowledge of the methodology of the nursing process, and general concepts regarding the nursing documentation.
Course programme
- General outline of the significance of clinical charts and relevant regulations
Clinical charts, the role of the nurse
Nursing Care plan: development of information tools, aims, methods, implementation, improvement
Collaboration with other professional figures Didactic methods
- Frontal lesson, small group work, interactive discussion.
Learning assessment procedures
- Written exam: test consisting of questions with an open question answer, relating to the contents of the course and in reference to a specific operational context (or healthcare scenario), in which the student is asked to critically describe the assistance documentation methods appropriate to the situation . Maximum achievable score 31/30. Test duration: 45 minutes
