The didactic purpose of the course is the achievement of the basis for the knowledge of the main risks for health. To develop prevention activity for maintenance public health. Identify the principles and recommendations for the prevention of infectious risk . The prevention of chronic illness and association with the life stile. To do planning about health education. To acquire the knowledge of the main risks for food safety and food legislation. Prevention and control of occupational andenvironmental risk for health.¿

GYNAECOLOGY AND OBSTETRICS
Objectives related to preconception counseling. Understanding the physiology of pregnancy and the concept of high-risk pregnancy. Theoretical principles and methods of prenatal diagnosis .
Acquire the knowledge and ability to apply the knowledge to the obstetric monitoring of low-risk pregnancy.
Ability to apply knowledge in relation to physiological changes of organs and systems and the main instrumental and laboratory investigations useful in different gestational periods .
To know the concept of maternal and fetal well-being and ability to apply knowledge to the surveillance methods of fetal maternal health in pregnancy to term. Screening of infectious diseases in pregnancy.
OBSTETRIC GYNAECOLOGICAL SCIENCES
Acquisition of relevant knowledge:
-the determinants of the health project, strategies for prevention and identification of the pregnancy risk factors.
-the protection of pregnancy legislation, hygiene of pregnancy and obstetric care during the low-risk pregnancy.
-the main features of the environment that affect women's health, maternal-fetal unity and family and identify related risk factors to health in the living environment and work.
Acquisition of skills related to the process of Midwifery Management in the assessment of low and high-risk pregnancy. Ability to implement the preventive and therapeutic intervention strategies in care of low-risk pregnancy. Ability to implement and evaluation of effective tools and methods in order to determine the maternal fetal health in three quarters of pregnancy and implementing preventive strategies, the risk obstetrician

Knowledge of fundamental principles of risk prevention in the workplace concentrating on risks of health workers: biological, ergonomic and psycho-social hazards and risks.
Knowledge and application of the individual and general preventive strategies.
GENERAL HYGIENE
The didactic purpose of the course is the achievement of the basis for the knowledge of the main risks for health. To develop prevention activity for maintenance public health. Identify the principles and recommendations for the prevention of infectious risk . The prevention of chronic illness and association with the life stile. To do planning about health education. Learning assessment procedures

SAFETY IN THE WORKPLACE
Multiple choice quizzes: 16 questions with 4 possible responses (only one exact). Score: right response: 2 points; wrong response or no response: 0 point. Exam lenght: 20 minutes.
The exam is mandatory for the internship.

GENERAL HYGIENE, PUBLIC LAW AND HEALTH LEGISLATION, NURSING APPLIED TO HEALTH PROMOTION
Written multiple choice test with grid (24 questions, only one correct), containing questions about all of the teaching modules (12 about Hygiene, 6 about Law and 6 about Nursing). 20 minutes. The exam is passed with at least 15 points, and at least 3 points for Law and for Nursing, 6 points for Hygiene.

THE FINAL GRADE IS A WEIGHTED AVERAGE OF THE MARKS OBTAINED IN EACH TEST.
