Training objectives
- KNOWLEDGE: The programme aims at developing and strengthening grammatical competence at the B1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for languages. Through lectures and class exercises in English, the course provides students with a balanced knowledge of oral and written comprehension.
SKILLS: At the end of the course, students will be able to listen, speak, read and write fluently and accurately on various topics of general knowledge. Prerequisites

- The course runs during the FIRST semester through recorded lectures conducted in English. The teaching methodology includes both theoretical lectures as well as class exercises.
Learning assessment procedures
- WRITTEN EXAMINATION consisting of 31 multiple-choice questions on grammar at B1 level. Each question is given 1 point if correct; wrong or no answers 0 points. Students are allowed 30 minutes for the exam. The pass mark is 18. Exams may be carried out either remotely (Moodle Platform) or in presence depending on both the regulatory and/or epidemiological context.
