Training objectives
- The program is based on theoretical and practical examples; its aim is to allow future physicians to develop a critical understanding of the principles underlying AI-Driven Healthcare (Artificial Intelligence-Driven Healthcare) and the future collaboration between physicians and machines.

3) Definition of Precision Medicine, Predictive Medicine, Personalized Medicine;
4) Definition of Artificial Intelligence, Machine-Learning, Deep-Learning, Reinforcement-Learning (Robotics);
5) Introduction to medical terminology in Artificial Intelligence;
6) Critical comprehension of peer-reviewed journal articles in medical Artificial Intelligence;
7) The future of the physician-machine collaboration;
8) The Gender/Under-represented Category Bias in Artificial Intelligence;
9) Introduction to Patient-Centered Medicine in AI-Driven Healthcare;
10) Introduction to the new medical liability in AI-Driven Healthcare. Didactic methods
- The course will be partly in Italian and partly in English on the “Moodle” Platform.
Learning assessment procedures
- Written Examination.
A 500-word abstract on an Artificial Intelligence application in healthcare chosen by the student.
The state of knowledge of the subject, the clarity and the ability to apply critically the information acquired during the course will be evaluated.
To pass the exam it is necessary to score 18 points out of 30. Reference texts
- Slides, articles and all materials will be posted on the platform.
