Training objectives
- The goal of the course is to make students aware of the various possible applications of radioguided surgery in oncology. In this way students can provide useful knowledge to be applied in daily medical practice: as primary care physicians to provide the right support and information to their patients know how to properly address the specialist advice, as a non-surgical specialists in branches able to properly compare the activities of collaboration with surgeons.
Prerequisites
- Attendance is recommended the course to those students who have already passed the test of Surgical Oncology and the students who have taken the exam or are attending the course in General Surgery I.
Course programme
- Setup is invoked pathogenetic concepts, diagnosis and treatment for melanoma, breast cancer, thyroid and colon.
You will learn the basic concepts that underpin the methods of radioguided surgery, you will learn methods of radioguided surgery, giving students the opportunity to attend the operating room to witness firsthand the application of the same methods during surgery. Didactic methods
