Training objectives
- The course describes the knowledge of the instrumental diagnostic methods in the "fundus oculi" examination chorio retinal angiography optical coherence tomography.
Prerequisites
- Elements of the physiopathology of the eye. Elements of physics.
Course programme
- Principles of the retino-choroidal angiography. Acquaintance of the main angiografic syndromes.
Optical Coherence Tomography and its application in retinal diseases. Didactic methods
- Frontal lessons
Learning assessment procedures
- Oral exam with 2 questions regarding the course program. The average examination time is about 15 – 20 minutes. The clarity and analytical capacity of the student in analyzing angiography patterns and tomographic imaging in diagnosis of retinal diseases are considered.
