Training objectives
- Provide the student information on how to treat the kidney disease by adapted physical exercise, and on the interaction between medical staff and exercise specialist in the treatment of the disease.
Prerequisites
- Knowledge of kidney disease, basis of exercise physiology.
Course programme
- The doctor-exercise specialist relationship in the treatment of the kidney disease.
Physical exercise in kidney disease: programs proposed in literature, scientific evidences.
The Ferrara project.
Examples of exercises and structuring of a training session Didactic methods
- Frontal lessons with projections of slides.
Practical examples of the proposed exercises in classroom. Learning assessment procedures
- 20 multiple choice questions, each with 4 answer options, only one correct. Time 20 minutes.
