Training objectives
- To provide the student with advanced knowledge in the field of molecular biology applied to genetic risk in oncology, as well as to provide the basis for the management of the subject with cancer-related risk, including gender-related aspects.
Prerequisites
- Frequency of Medical Genetics course
Course programme
- Main oncological genetic syndromes. Epidemiology, pathophysiology and evolution of inherited and familial neoplasms, gender-related influences. Oncogenetic risk assessment, screening and diagnostic tools. Genetic counseling.
