Training objectives
- To deliver physio-pathology and clinical management principles related to lymphedema, as extremely frequent lymphatic disorder in both the lower and upper limb, with a particular focus in the differential diagnosis with lipedema. Primary endpoint is to provide a solid knowledge on the topic, with the aim of developing the skill of diagnose and properly address the many patients the same trainee will meet along his/her professional path, independently by what his/her specialty will be.
Prerequisites
- Physiopathology and clinical methodology courses attendance.
Course programme
- Seminars of Lymphology and Phlebology applied to the Lymphatic system.
The course includes topics related to Gender Medicine. Didactic methods
- Seminars, educational videos, group meetings.
