Training objectives
- The course provides essential information regarding the medical, surgical and rehabilitation in diseases of the peripheral and central nervous system by offering innovative approaches
Prerequisites
- Basic knowledge of anatomygeneral and clinical psychology
Course programme
- 1.Treatment of neuropathic pain
2.Therapy with botulinum toxin
3.Immunological and immunosuppressive therapies in multiple sclerosis
4.Symptomatic therapies in multiple sclerosis
5.Neuro rehabilitation of spasticity
6.Neuro rehabilitation of ataxia
7.Therapy o ictus in acute phase and prevention.
8.Neuro surgery vertebro-medullary
9.Neuro intracranial surgery
10.Other innovative neurosurgical approaches Didactic methods

Learning assessment procedures
- Written exam. 30 questions with multiple choices’ answers. 5 answers are proposed for each question. Every corrected answer is evaluated one point. If the answer is uncorrected or the question is without answer, no point is assigned. Other three optional questions are proposed in the questionnaire; if they are completed and the answers are exacted, 30 cum laude can be obtained. Length of exam is 60 minutes.
