Training objectives
- Knowling aid to those affected by heart attack and applying cardiopulmonary resuscitation and defibrillation. The course covers the guidelines known as BLSD addressed to all citizens and those for health professionals.
Prerequisites
- Knowledge of cardiac and respiratory anatomy and basic physiology
Course programme
- • Recognition of heart attack warning signs
• the state of consciousness rating, spontaneous breathing, heart activity
• Activation of the emergency medical system
• artificial ventilation with self-inflating mask-ball system
• Using the Guedel cannula
• Carotid pulse Rating
• external heart massage
• cardiopulmonary resuscitation Sequence 2 rescuers
• Lateral Security Position
• Heimlich Maneuver (unblocking the airways)
• Knowledge of basic mechanisms of electrical therapy
• Knowledge of the principles of operation of the AED
• Use the semi-automatic defibrillator Didactic methods
- lectures and pratical activity in high fidelity simulation
Learning assessment procedures
- Multiple choice quizzes. 21 questions: 1.4 points for each correct answer, 0 for wrong answer or no data + open question with the definition of treatment algorithm, evaluated from 0 to 3 points (rated on accuracy, completeness and compliance with the request). test duration 20 minutes
