Training objectives
- To acquire fundamental knowledge in: anatomy and physiology of the masticatory system related to occlusal principles; mandibular dynamics; occlusal analysis, occlusal dysfunctions.
Prerequisites
- Knowledge on: physics, histology, human anatomy, physiology
Course programme
- Oral anatomy. Principles of gnatology. Oral physiology and mandibular dynamics.
Simulators of mandibular movements.

Learning assessment procedures
- Oral exam: about 3 questions on the topics of the course; average duration 20-30 min; the candidate must exhibit the understanding of the topics of the course and the capacity of applying in the clinical practice.
