Training objectives
- Skills in practical application of assessment & rehabilitation procedures for disorders in processes of communication including the voice and fluency.
Prerequisites
- Theory of rehabilitation procedures for communication disorders including the voice and fluency.
Course programme
- Acquisition of skills in rehabilitation procedures for disorders of processes of communication including the voice and fluency
Didactic methods
- Theory and practice: students assist the work of the speech therapist in the clinic and in the wards where required speech therapy counseling. At the end of the treatments we give some theoretical knowledge about treatments or assessments observed and provide appropriate handouts.
Learning assessment procedures
- The exam is scheduled for oral mode: the allotted time is 30 minutes for each candidate. It will be offered a clinical case to be framed and discussed by the student which will also be asked for the simulation of taking charge logopedica patient described in the case, from assessment to treatment
