Training objectives
- - knowledge of the essential properties of language as a faculty of human mind and as an instrument for communication;
- basic knowledge of the components of natural languages, of the principles governing their grammars and of the properties of interlinguistic variation;
- acquisition of basic tools for the analysis of natural languages and of the processes, both synchronic and diachronic, that affect the grammar and the lexicon. Prerequisites

- The exam is a written test . The test aims to assess the acquisition of basic linguistic knowledge and the ability to use them to make elementary analysis of linguistic data.
