Training objectives
- This Integrated Course follows a training course which has the general objective of introducing the student to some fundamental modules of the Psychological Sciences in the field of communication and behaviour.

Brief history of Psychology, history of the study of the brain and birth of neuroscience.
Neuropsychological method. The method of the double dissociation. The mental chronometry method. Basics of sensory processing. Eloquent areas and not eloquent areas. Multisensory integration. Psychophysics. Techniques to identify the relationship between cognitive functions and neural substrate. Attention. Language. Learning. Memory. Motor planning. Ability to recognize others' actions. Applications of knowledge to rehabilitation of different pathologies.

PSYCHOLOGY OF EMOTIONS
Definition of the construct of emotion; analysis of the dimensions or components which determine the emotional process; analysis of the regulatory processes; analysis of the main processes of emotional sharing such as emotional contagion and empathy. The most important theorists in the psychology of emotion are introduced to provide a background to the current contemporary research and to the modern synthesis of nature and culture (dynamic systems approaches).

- PSYCHOLOGY OF EMOTIONS: written exam
METHODOLOGY IN COMMUNICATION: written exam
BIOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS OF BEHAVIOR: The exam consists of a written test with 31 multiple choice questions. The duration of the exam is 30 minutes (0 points for each no answer, + 1 for each correct answer; minimum score 18).
The final mark results from the weighted average of the marks obtained in each test. Reference texts
