Training objectives

HOSPITAL AND COMMUNITY CARE ORGANISATION
On completion of the course the student is expected to have acquired skills in:
-Organisation and an understanding of professional relationships.
-analysis of healthcare organisation.
-analysis of rehabilitation in healthcare setting
-analysis of organisation models and professional development
IMPLEMENTATION AND CONDUCT OF OPERATIONAL PROCESSES FOR RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
Knowing the sources of law that characterize welfare organizations and of rehabilitation.
Knowing the basics and models of the organization, declined in health reality.
Know and to be able to assess leadership styles
Dealing with the new models of "diversity and universality" of the coordination of resources activities and of "lean organization"
Design a structure and its organic sizing.
Knowing the tools for staff recruitment. Assess, monitor and maintain staff skills
METHODOLOGY OF ANALYSIS AND ASSESSMENT OF HEALTHCARE COMPLEXITY
On completion of the course the student is expected to have acquired skills in :
-theory of “complexity” and elements which denote “complexity” of clinical healthcare of patients using healthcare services.
-concept of indicators and differentiation of elements which characterise indicators of processes, results and outcomes.
-healthcare assistance based on principles of “complexity”.
-organisational and healthcare changes in the various healthcare professions which use the model of “complexity”.
-technical proposals of Ministry of Health and Regional Administration on the development of skills in the health professions.

Prerequisites

Knowledge of the language of public health. Basic knowledge of management and organizational analysis methodology.

Clinical care in rehabilitation
IMPLEMENTATION AND CONDUCT OF OPERATIONAL PROCESSES FOR RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
The regulatory environment and rehabilitative care settings and for the organization of activities and human resources: interactive analysis of the sources, the PSN, the PSSR, Networks Rehabilitation for disease, the National Plan outcomes, the DGR 427/2009, the guidelines for Rehabilitation, the Standard and rehabilitation programs of wide area and regional area; models of organization and organizational planning; the declination of the models in healthcare; diversity and universality of the activities of personnel management; profile role, evaluation and maintenance of skills, the downsizing according to the standards, calculation and monitoring of workloads, tag management contract.
ASSESSMENT OF HEALTHCARE COMPLEXITY
-Complexity in accordance with Morin: complexity applied to clinical care, intensity of care.
-Nursing process and complexity of healthcare. Type and homogeneity of care and evaluation of complexity in order to organise clinical care.
-Current organisation and healthcare and the need for innovation.
-roles of healthcare professionals.
-Professional perimeters and redefinition of the concept of autonomy and accountability in teamwork.

Presentation of a project work
IMPLEMENTATION AND CONDUCT OF OPERATIONAL PROCESSES FOR RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
The exam will focus in two forms, depending on progress of work of the groups and the deepening of specific themes of the program:
- Presentation of a project work in .doc and .ppt - evaluation according to predefined criteria (adherence to the mandate, clear objectives, expressed methodology, process and outcome indicators present, necessary resources and anticipated costs, results and conclusions) - max 3 points each criterion - maximum exposure time 30 minutes
- Written exam with open questions 9 and maximum 6 response lines for each - max 3 points for each answer, no answer is worth 0 - maximum time 2 hours

Assessment of analysis carried out and group work produced in class
THE FINAL GRADE IS A WEIGHTED AVERAGE OF THE MARKS OBTAINED IN EACH TESTS.
