Training objectives
- The main objective of the course is: to learn the students the knowledge about orthoptics sciences orthoptics, which are useful developing the basis skills as Orthoptist. These knowledge allow the students to learn the orthoptic path to do with a large wide of patients. The course will use problems solving techniques to help them develop strategies to effectively manage paediatric and adult forms of strabismus

Classification and clinical features of ocular neuromuscular abnormalities, as: esodeviation, exodeviation, vertical and skew deviation, microstrabismus, paralytic strabismus, Stilling Turk Duane Syndrome, Brown Syndrome, Moebius Syndrome, strabismus fixus, fibrosis of the extraocular muscles, Thyroid Associated Ophthalmyopathy, acute orbital myosis, cyclic heterotrophy, fractures of the orbit, myokymia of the upper oblique muscle, Myasthenia gravis, chronic progressive external ophthalmoplegia, convergence and divergence abnormalities, Ocular stiff neck

- The final evaluation of the achievement of the objectives of the integrated course is the result of the weighted average of the evaluations obtained in each individual course. If the student does not pass a single module, he can repeat it.
