Training objectives
- Basic knowledge of laser therapy. The role of ophthalmologist assistant in patients management is discussed
Prerequisites
- Knowledge about ocular anatomy, physics elements and ocular physiopathology
Course programme
- Elementary principles of ophthalmologic laser theraphy are given. The course describes laser application in the most important retino-choroidal pathologies.

- Frontal lectures
Learning assessment procedures
- One oral section of 20 minutes, where the ability of linking different subjects related is evaluated, rather than the ability of “repeating” specific topics tackled in the course.
