TRAINING
The internship program aims objectives :
- Make independent students for ability to apply knowledge through behavioral principles concerning their activities obstetric care during labor and childbirth , for which it must be able to analyze and synthesize aspects of the planning, delivery and evaluation of ' assistance given .
-provide a path that allows the student to develop sufficient autonomy in the identification, management and evaluation of interventions of professional competence in the field of labor and delivery .
-to promote autonomous conduct for effective educational relationships for therapeutic education in labor.
SEMINAR: STUDY OF GYNAECOLOGICAL BENIGNE DISEASES
Knowing the major benign gynecological diseases, diagnostic and therapeutic medical treatment and surgical approach.
Acquire skills in collaborative data collection, in the diagnosis and treatment process.

TRAINING
The second semester internship is sequential to the first half to facilitate the student learning experience given the care and organizational complexity proposal.
The internship is carried out driven in areas with medium and high- complexity care in the context of the delivery room Learning courses include:
-l ' application of the techniques of the helping relationship (area of social skills )
-the application of the techniques obstetric care in labor and delivery at low risk and high risk (area of technical skills )
-the application of the obstetric care process methodology (area of cognitive skills of critical thinking ) .
Provide students the skills to apply their knowledge to facilitate the free positions in labor and low-risk childbirth
Provide the tools to assist the water birth

Learning assessment procedures

INTERNSHIP
To gain access to the final exam, students must:
-have positively exceeded 5 proposed evaluative step (cards in the Teacher microsite)
-have reached the standard set out in Directive 2005/36 / EEC art.42 (forms available in the Teacher microsite).
To be admitted to the final exam it is necessary to have completed the internship hours of the course year, have all the merit evaluation forms with positive results and have filled in the SVIAT form for each internship experience on the SE @ platform of the University.
The final oral exam consists of viewing the student's internship and achieving the professional standard set
The oral interview conducted by the coordinator of the Training and Professionalising Activities and the teaching tutor consists in sharing a clinical case with the student through the CBL methodology (case base learning), this modality allows to investigate the link between knowledge and the ability to apply acquired knowledge and investigate decision making skills. You are asked to list the health problems included in the clinical case, the data collection to formulate a differential diagnosis for each problem, a main diagnostic hypothesis, the diagnostic tests to verify the hypothesis, the therapeutic indications supported by scientific evidence and a assistance plan with preventive, follow-up, midwifery rehabilitation activities.
The vote is expressed in 30/30.
SEMINAR
Students must pass an oral examination consists of two general questions relating to the program topics . Every general question is supplemented by an application on a case to assess the student's ability to reason on acquired knowledge and know how to apply in the professional reality . Are preconditions for overcoming the test of language , the ability to create the interconnections between the topics and the ability to apply knowledge in a clinical setting.
