GYNECOLOGY AND MIDWIFERY
The course allows you to gain knowledge of pathophysiological , psychological and clinical ( from a preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic), regarding the puerperium and the ability to recognize the most frequent forms of puerperal disease , ability to apply knowledge to preventive measures and therapeutic fundamental and identifying conditions that require professional contribution of expertise in the postnatal period and acquire full capacity for collaboration with medical clinics in pathological conditions .
GENERAL PSYCHOLOGY
The course allows you to:
• know and understand the physiological psychological aspects that characterize the postnatal period and be able to meet the multiple needs of mothers.
• know, understand and evaluate psychological tests, the psychopathological aspects of childbirth, postnatal depression - puerperal psychosis, and activate in collaboration with the medical, psychological / psychiatric interventions required.
• know and understand the psychological experiences of women and the family in the experience of spontaneous fetal death and perinatal death of the fetus in pregnancy and relate properly.
• Ability to apply knowledge in obstetrics to identify maternal competence demonstrated during the post-partum and implement the measures of responsibility for the welfare of the team activation in suspicious situations of psychological pathology of the mother.
NURSING AND MIDWIFERY
The course allows the student to:
-To Know and be able to apply the welfare of competence interventions in the care process of physiological childbirth.
-know apply the skills relating to the powers midwives in the pathophysiology of local phenomena, general and endocrinological puerperium and the healthy infant care.
-know the main conceptual and theoretical tools to study under Development
and be able to identify the main stages of human development and the contextual conditions of their construction
-know the main theories of attachment between child and caregiver figure and be able to apply in obstetrics
-know the structure of interaction mother-child
In particular, the student is able to analyze and understand the importance of early relationships in order to critically examine the problems that hinder developing skills and help support the pair in the neonatal field.
DISCIPLINE ETHNOGRAPHY AND ANTHROPOLOGY
The course aims to introduce students to social anthropology studies presenting the main conceptual tools developed cultural anthropology with direct references to the possible fields of application related to the disease, the body, the treatment considering the socio-cultural dynamics evolving. In particular:
- Know the characteristics and dynamics of the immigration phenomenon Italy and Europe
- Knowing the impact that culture has on the system of needs and behaviors in place
- Know the transcultural care approach in obstetrics
-to acquire the skills of cultural competence for obstetric care. Organize assistance transcultural models
-Know the main variables that affect the access and availability of health services
- Promoting an approach to the prevention of infectious diseases that will facilitate the access of immigrant groups to health services
-To reflect critically on their professional action and the relationship with the '' other '
-Develop the ability to recognize and understand cultural differences within care during pregnancy, childbirth and the postnatal period, to provide culturally sensitive care

The course of anthropology will tackle the same topics of the general course from a cultural point of view

Learning assessment procedures

OBSTETRICS AND GYNECOLOGY
Students must pass an oral examination consisting of three questions relating to the program topics .
Each question is supplemented by an application on a case to assess the student's ability to clinical reasoning linked to foreground and enforcement capacity in relation to occupational skills independently and in collaboration with the medical specialties .
The test is deemed insufficient if the student does not prove he has acquired the knowledge and proposed topic has not gained command of language and clinical reasoning .
The test is passed if the student answers the questions correctly proposals and demonstrates both the knowledge and the ability to apply them in clinical settings
The test has a duration of 20 minutes and the rating is expressed in 30/30
GYNECOLOGY AND MIDWIFERY
The part of the program relating to mother-child is investigated through an oral examination consisting of three questions so proposals:
-The First question is chosen by the student.
-The Second question is the overview of the authors and of the mother-child integration theories.
-the third question is about a clinical case to assess the student's ability to clinical reasoning tied on acquired knowledge and skills of application in relation to professional skills independently and in collaboration with the medical specialist.
The test is deemed insufficient if the student does not prove he has acquired the knowledge and proposed topic has not gained command of language and clinical reasoning.
The test has a duration of 20 minutes and the rating is expressed in 30/30.
The part of the care process in the postnatal period is investigated through a written test consisting of 14 multiple choice questions and one open-ended question in which we investigate the theoretical knowledge and the ability to apply knowledge.
Each question are assigned 2 points to reach a score expressed in 30/30.
Students arriving at a score below or equal to 24/30 participate in an oral interview with the teacher who aims to point out the inaccuracies of the task and improve your score.
Duration of the written exam: 1 hour
Length of interview: 20 minutes.
GENERAL PSYCHOLOGY

The test is written and consists of 10 open-ended questions that go to investigate the theoretical knowledge of the subject , the knowledge related to the services and to their organization , resolution of clinical cases allows to evaluate the student's ability to apply knowledge . Each question is given a score of 3 for a mark out of 30/30
Students arriving at a score below or equal to 24/30 participate in an oral interview with the teacher who aims to point out the inaccuracies of the task and improve your score.
Duration of written examination : 2 hours
Length of interview : 20 minutes
THE FINAL GRADE IS A WEIGHTED AVERAGE OF THE MARKS OBTAINED IN EACH TESTS.

For the exam of anthropology students will be required to answer writtenly an open question
