Training objectives
- Knowledge and ability to interpret the clinical data for the early detection of neoplastic diseases. Ability to conduct the assessment of the signs and symptoms of clinical conditions associated with cancer, the ability to recognize and assess the neoplastic markers. Ability to interpret the causative factors, diagnosis, evolution and complications of the condition being treated.
Prerequisites
- Clinical approach semeiological and anamnestic to cancer patients.
Course programme
- Run the data collection by history to instrumental diagnostics of precancerous and cancerous forms in general with particular reference to breast and stomach cancers. Analysis of disease patterns associated with the presence of any type of cancer with particular focus on gynecological cancers , study and interpretation of tumor markers of cancer.
Study of the therapeutic and rehabilitation of the analyzed clinical pictures. Didactic methods

Learning assessment procedures
- Oral exam, which lasts 15-30 minutes, in which, together with the technical and scientific skills of theoretical exposure of the topics under consideration , the student must demonstrate the ability to connect and compare different and common aspects of the treated diseases.
The interview will be conducted with questions aimed at assessing the knowledge, skills of diagnostic and therapeutic clinical reasoning of the topics under consideration. Reference texts
