SOCIOLOGY
This training intends to offer its students conceptual and methodological tools for an examination of the social dimensions in regards to maternity. This theme will be analyzed in relation to the social and organizational changes of the health and social welfare services of contemporary society.

On completion of the course the student is expected to know:
LABOUR LAW
Provide basic knowledge of the concepts of sources of law and of the hierarchy of sources of primary health care legislation. Make the students understand the importance of continuing education for health professionals.
PSYCHOLOGY OF WORK
Study and learn the principles of the psychology of work and of organizations in the past reality, today, in public companies and private ones. Knowing the techniques and tools for assessment of human personnel to work. Knowing how to establish a positive psychological contract and purposeful relationship between health professional and patient. Understanding the importance of the concept of work climate and the main detection techniques.
Increase the level of awareness of self in relation to others by itself.
Knowing how to identify and manage the main group dynamics.
BUSINESS ORGANIZATION
Providing the tools for evaluating the performance investigating the use of key performance indicators and reports in support of management.
Knowing how to better manage the care pathways, defining the fields of action and priorities for action.
FORENSIC MEDICINE
The main legal forces affecting nursing practice with particular emphasis on the history and development of legal procedure. Acquisition of knowledge applied to decision-making in nursing practice. Basic concepts of professional practice. Legal aspects related to the health profession. Basic concepts of professional accountability.

SCIENCE OF OBSTETRICS AND GYNECOLOGY
The course aims to provide students with a background in the area of professional liability and accreditation of health facilities through knowledge and the ability to apply knowledge in healthcare and organizational context :
-the regulatory aspects related to the quality setting and Accreditation in the RER
- The operation of the Accreditation model of RER aimed at continuously improving the quality provided
Identify and know how to apply in the profession the professional responsibility of the midwife and its differentiation in criminal, civil and administrative spheres. Learn the disciplinary responsibility of the midwife / employee in the public and private sector and demonstrate skills in clinical practice. Understand and know how to apply the criteria of disciplinary responsibility of the midwife / o towards the College of belonging; Know the organs and the competences of the College of the Midwives and of the national Federation of the colleges of the midwives. Analyze the regulatory aspects that affect the profession in matters of professional secrecy and privacy protection.

Learning assessment procedures

SOCIOLOGY
The exam will be in oral form.
ECONOMICS APPLIED TO HEALTHCARE MANAGEMENT
Theoretical knowledge is investigated with a questionnaire with open answer 3 questions . The ability to apply knowledge are examined by an oral interview after the written test. Time available for testing one hour .
The interview allows the student to point out any inaccuracies in the written test and complete the verification by answering two questions relating to professional skills on the principle of saving . Time 30 minutes.
Are indicators for assessing the properties of language , the clarity and the ability to create links between the topics. The rating is expressed in 30/30.
SCIENCE OF OBSTETRICS AND GYNAECOLOGY
The test is to support two written exams:
a questionnaire on the quality and accreditation contains 13 open-ended questions and 18 multiple choice questions.
To every question correct multiple choice will be assigned a score of 2 points while the open-ended questions 3 points depending on the completeness of the response.
Considering test was failed to under 18 points; in this case there will be the execution of a new test written with 10 open questions.
Upon successful examination The written test is the ability of the student to improve the assessment with oral examination to be held on the same day
The other essay is the analysis of a legal ruling relating to the midwife profession. The questionnaire with multiple answers: 23 questions, five answers for every question of which only one right, to be done in 30 minutes. The assignment is 1 point every right question; considering tests failed under 18 points. in the case of test score below 18 points, the student faces an oral test to be agreed with the teacher. The evaluation is 30/30.
