Training objectives

------------------------------------------------------------
Modulo: 007245/2 - GINECOLOGIA E OSTETRICIA
------------------------------------------------------------
OBSTETRICS AND GYNECOLOGY
Comprehension and understanding of the main pathogenenetic mechanisms and risk processes of the pathology of the phenomena of labor and delivery and postpartum.
Clinical skills, diagnostic and collaborative care of expertise in the implementation of effective interventions to the recognition of the signs and symptoms to identify potentially pathological phenomena in labor.
CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASES
To provide basic elements for assessing the cardiac and vascular function under normal conditions and during the most common and frequent diseases. Cardiovascular risk factors will be reviewed in both a preventive perspective and risk stratification of cardiovascular disease.
Knowledge of the meaning and the frequency of symptoms of cardiovascular disease, so as to allow, within a population of subjects of obstetrical interest, the recognition of cases that require a medical evaluation of the cardiovascular apparatus.
The entire course will be aimed at describing the main cardiovascular pathologies as specifically in women. Particular attention will be given to the way in which symptoms and diagnostic conditions may differ in young women and how pharmacological and interventional therapy should be modulated and managed in this subgroup of patients "
NEPHROLOGY
To provide the sufficient knowledge to evaluate renal function during admission. Clinical characteristics of the main renal syndromes will be shown, addressing particularly worsening renal function and urinary tract infections. Aim of the course will be to recognize early renal dysfunction.
GENERAL E SPECIALISED PEDIATRICS
The course focuses on the process of the pathological newborn and clinical pictures evident in the first days of life, as well as the diagnosis and collaborative therapeutic diagnostic treatments of obstetric competence.
Ability to detect the signs and symptoms of the newborn that potentially demonstrates pathological data and the ability to activate effective assistance interventions.
NURSING AND MIDWIFERY
Ability to use the corpus of theoretical knowledge of Midwifery for taking charge and managing the labor / delivery at high risk and / or pathological .
Ability to use the tools , methods and the effective organizational models in order to make a day collecting data useful at the early detection of the signs and symptoms of the disease at birth.
Ability to plan the intervention obstetrician independently and in collaboration with the health care team to manage the obstetric management of labor and pathological childbirth.
Ability to interpret and apply research results to the obstetric practice for the development of the discipline

Learning assessment procedures

GENERAL AND SPECIALISED PEDIATRICS
The test is oral. 2 questions are formulated by the teacher that investigate in a sequential and hierarchical manner:
1. the knowledge of the subject; 2. The skills of clinical connection between the various topics that are related and the ability to carry out the assistance intervention in the team.
The test is considered passed if the student correctly answers the questions posed by the teacher.
The test is considered insufficient if the student does not answer the 1st question relating to the knowledge considered a barrier for the continuation of the test.
The property of language, the ability to create theoretical-practical correlations functional to obstetric skills are indicators of evaluation.
If the test is considered unsatisfactory by the teacher because the student has not fully complied with all the required indicators, even though he has passed the first question, the teacher asks a third question in order to consider the test completely passed.
The vote of 30/30.
To grant honors, the teacher proposes a third question. the student must fully answer the test correctly and have also taken the third question proposed.
Duration of the test: 30/40 minutes.
NEPHROLOGY
The exam is a multiple choice test, 31 questions, four answers, and only one is correct. The final evaluation will be calculated accounting 1 point for every right answer. No answer or wrong answer will be evaluated as zero. In order to pass the examination, the score should be greater than 18. Time: 40 minutes
CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASES
Multiple choice test wrote: 30 closed questions, with 4-5 answers only 1 correct answer, which is 1 point for each correct answer, 0 points for each not answered, - 0.50 for each wrong answer. positive assessment: equal to or greater than 18/30. DURATION 30 minutes
OBSTETRICS & GYNECOLOGY
The exam is oral questions ranging from 2 to investigate in a hierarchical system
-Knowledge of the argument basis proposed for discussion, and medical skills link between the various topics that are related. 1. the student's ability to analyze the epidemiological context and argument scientific evidence Treaty. 2. diagnostic skills and clinical reasoning, the ability to carry out the intervention welfare of expertise, diagnostic skills on risk factors and complications of the intervention made. The test is passed if the student answers the questions correctly. The test is deemed insufficient if the student does not respond to the indicators concerning the knowledge, the operating epidemiological and scientific evidence because they were considered a barrier. They are also indicators of language, ability to create theoretical correlations functional practices to midwives skills. The 30/30. Duration: 30/40 minutes.
OSTETRICO GYNECOLOGICAL SCIENCES
The exam is oral. They are formulated two questions that go to investigate:
1-basic knowledge of the subject proposed for discussion, and medical skills link between the various arguments that are correlati.-the student's ability to analyze the epidemiological context and the scientific evidence supporting the argument Midwifery management treated . 2-diagnostic capabilities and clinical reasoning, planning skills, welfare intervention realization of expertise and a team of verification capabilities and diagnostics of risk factors and complications of the intervention made. 3-technical and organizational skills independently and in teams in care intervention implementation in emergency regime of birth pathology demonstrating efficacy evaluation capacity for the mother and the fetus. The test is passed if the student answers the questions correctly. The test is deemed insufficient if the test does not respond to the indicators concerning the knowledge, the operating epidemiological and scientific evidence because they were considered a barrier. They are also indicators of language, the ability to create theoretical and practical functional correlations midwives skills. The 30/30. Duration: 30/40 minutes.
THE FINAL VOTING IS THE WEIGHTED AVERAGE OF VOTES GAINED IN EACH TEST
