ENDOCRINOLOGY
Students will have to know the causes, physiological mechanisms, gender differences and some clinical aspects of the main diseases of the endocrine system and metabolism. They must also have acquired good ability to interact and manage women suffering from endocrine-metabolic diseases, especially during pregnancy.
GYNAECOLOGY AND OBSTETRICS
The student will acquire the knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the female genital tract, physiology of human reproduction and embryonic development. Gain the essential knowledge about the use of the main instrumental and biochemical investigations for the female genital tract and study of the early stages of pregnancy.
You should know and be able to apply behaviors that recognize the role and functions of the midwife in the professional and social .
OBSTETRICS GYNECOLOGICAL SCIENCES
The student will gain the knowledge to understand the determinants of health risk factors and basic strategies to understand and implement health prevention plans of women and their reproductive cycle . Must be able to analyze and apply the phases of the care process obstetrician, make a data collection and interpret them in order to organize educational and preventive interventions for the main risk factors in the context of competence . The student will know how to identify the physical, psychological and social aspects of women and couples at various stages of life .
He should know and understand the role and functions of the midwife in the professional and social as well as the regulations governing the function.
They will be acquired knowledge about appropriate obstetric care and basic gynecological techniques .
GENERAL PSYCHOLOGY
The course aims to provide students with the theoretical concepts and knowledge on strategies and major theoretical and clinical applications of scientific psychology.
ENGLISH
KNOWLEDGE: The programme aims at developing and strengthening grammatical competence at the B1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for languages. Through lectures and class exercises in English, the course provides students with a balanced knowledge of oral and written comprehension.
SKILLS: At the end of the course, students will be able to listen, speak, read and write fluently and accurately on various topics of general knowledge.

GYNAECOLOGY AND OBSTETRICS
Female genital anatomy and pelvis
Basic principles of instrumental testings concerning the female genital tract study (cervical cytology, colposcopy, ultrasound, hysteroscopy, hysterosalpingography, laparoscopy ). Concept of hormone and receptor. Genital and extragenital effects of sex steroids. Physiology of the menstrual cycle.
Notions of male genital apparatus.
Gametogenesis . Fertilization and implantation. The early stages of embryonic development . Pregnancy diagnosis: clinical, Clinical and instrumental laoratory. Organogenesis of the main equipment. Placenta, fetal and placental circulation. Structure and functions of the placenta and fetal annexes.

The course is organised in two parts:
Recorded lectures: 24 hours of grammar instruction at the B1 CEFR level to introduce students to the main phonological, morphological, syntactical and semantic aspects of the English language, with attention to its application on specialised language.
Lectures in class: 2 hours-focus group to clarification of doubts concerning recorded lectures and guided mock tests.

Recorded lectures: 24 hours dedicated to grammar at the B1 CEFR level will be videorecorded and available online on the e-learning platform that students can access with their UNIFE credentials.

- GYNAECOLOGY AND OBSTETRICS
Oral exam lasting about 20 minutes consisting of two questions on the topics of gynecology and obstetrics program , the exam is passed with a correct answer to both questions . They will be assessed: acquired knowledge , presentation skills , ability to apply theoretical knowledge to a clinical setting obstetrician.
The final vote, out of thirty, is derived from the average of the gynecology and obstetrics - gynecological nursing sciences .
ENDOCRINOLOGY
Written test lasting 60 minutes, consisting of 36 multiple choice questions on the topics covered. To pass the test it is necessary to correctly answer at least 12 questions. The correct answer of the 30 quiz gets a score of 30/30 cum laude, for every wrong question or not given will be taken off the score of 0.5.
GENERAL PSYCHOLOGY
The oral examination will focus on the subjects listed above in "Program". Criteria for the assessment of knowledge / skills acquisition:
- Student’s understanding of specific items requested;
- Ability to link and compare the different aspects and content covered;
- Reflective capacity demonstrated by the student with respect to the applicability of theoretical contents in the various areas of clinical intervention.
Each student will be asked 3 questions.
A score from 0 to 11 (according to the criteria for the assessment the acquisition of the abovementioned knowledge / skills) to each question will be awarded.
The final grade will result from the sum of the three scores attributed to each applicant.
To pass the test students must acquire at least 6 out of 11 points for each question, a minimum score of 18 and a maximum of 33.
For the scorer of 31, 32, 33 students will be awarded with “30 e lode”.
If the total score is less than 18, students must repeat the oral examination.
The examination will last for 20 minutes.
OSTETRICO GYNECOLOGICAL SCIENCES
3 questions by each teacher about the programme.
The exam commission is composed by one MED/40 and one MED/47 teacher.
ENGLISH
WRITTEN EXAMINATION consisting of 31 multiple-choice questions on grammar at B1 level. Each question is given 1 point if correct; wrong or no answers 0 points. Students are allowed 30 minutes for the exam. The pass mark is 18. Exams may be carried out either remotely (Moodle Platform) or in presence depending on both the regulatory and/or epidemiological context.
THE FINAL GRADE IS A WEIGHTED AVERAGE OF THE MARKS OBTAINED IN EACH TESTS. Reference texts
