Training objectives

The course aims to explain to the student the structure and organization of the Italian sport system and the roles of the people who works within it. Fundaments of fiscal and administrative regulations of the Amateur Sport Association (ASD) will be explained, together with the main aspects of management of the sport business. This allows the students to know the structural characteristics of their potential job market.

Prerequisites

None specific, it is recommended to have practiced or managed competitive sport at any level.

Course programme

A view of the Italian sport structure, of the normative references, of the organization and of the evolution of the Italian sport system. Administrative requirements and fiscal benefit of the ASD with particular reference to the main forms, the sport association and companies and their relationships with the major players in the field. Main information on sporting marketing and brief analysis of the sponsorship system.

Learning assessment procedures

First call: Written exam with six open questions and one hour to complete the test.
Next calls: About 20 minutes of oral examination typically based on three questions.
The final score will be determined by the general knowledge of the subject for the 80% and by the appropriate use of language for the 20%.
