Training objectives
- Provide functional recovery techniques bases in musculoskeletal trauma specific sport. Rehabilitation by sex, age, anatomic location and extent of injury. Establish the times and methods of recovery based on the repair times of the injury itself and the sports preparation phase of the moment. The correct administration of differentiated workloads based on the recovery phases of the injured athlete in order to achieve sporting performance.
Prerequisites
- Good knowledge of anatomy and physiology of the skeletal muscle system and biomechanics of the moviment.
Course programme
- Anatomy of the muscles and tendons
Anatomo-pathology and Classification of traumatic muscle-tendon pathology and shoulder-knee-ankle injuries
Repair steps of muscle injury
The evaluation of Isometric and Isokinetic test and fields test.
Differentiated work programme
The exercises in the recovery of injured athlete (with examples and clip)
Stiffness and Stretching in the steps of recovery
The recovery of the proprioceptivity post trauma
and postural analysis

- 20 Hours spent theoretical presentations with movies
4 hours with practice test performed live on last generation equipment (Isokinetic on Biodex4 - Tecnogym machines – Baropodometric test - Spinometric Formetric 4D – Field test)
Practical examples of muscle tendon ultrasound in the classroom Learning assessment procedures
- Quiz test on the first day at the entrance to the course (30 minutes) to check the gaps and try to fill them.
Test section at the end of each lesson
Exam test performed through 31/32 multiple choice quiz questions for the final test. Reference texts
