Training objectives

The course wants to spread the knowledge of the sport of rugby through its theoretical, tactical and practical aspects. The students will be able to develop the role of operators within the association for the categories U.6 / U.8 / U.10 / U.12 / U.14. By integrating such course of studies with a practical apprenticeship of 20 hours, the qualification of Regional Animator U14 will be received from the Italian Rugby Union.

Prerequisites

Students must be physically fit for the practice and have the basics and knowledge of teaching methodology of team sports.

Course programme

METHODOLOGY OF TEACHING THE GAME OF RUGBY
Concept beginner. Skills to develop. Relationship between skills and knowledge of the game
The first basic rules: Score points; Tackle / bound to earth; Step Forward forbidden; Offside
The basics: advance, support, continue
DEVELOPMENT OF THE GAME: GAME FROM AMORPHOUS TO THE FIRST ORGANIZATION
- Security: the tackle
- Games of contact with the ground and with peers
- 1 vs 1, 2 vs 2, etc..
- The game grouped
AMORPHOUS GAME FROM THE DISCOVERY OF SPACE
- The passage: 2 vs 1, 2 vs 1 +1 etc..
- Games in space
- The principle of "Utilities": ball / space
- The recovery of the ball
- Groupings: ruck, maul

Learning assessment procedures

Questionnaire of 15 questions, of which 5 definitions, 5 to completion, 5 descriptive.
Each correct answer 2 points, each partial answer a point, zero points for no answer or wrong answer
5 questions in the section Optional: 2 of regulation 2 of tactics, 1 news
Consideration will be given only to candidates who have a minimum of 29 points in the questionnaire.
Computation
vote with 29: 5 correct answers 30 cum laude with 30 votes: 3 correct answers 30 e lode
Time available to the candidate: 60’
