Training objectives
- This course is about the integrated teaching of football, volleyball and basketball. It aims to the acquisition of the technical skills which are essential to the three sport disciplines mentioned, as well as the didactic and methodological knowledge for teaching them. At the end of the course the students will be able to propose a didactic progression of exercises about the fundamentals.

Course programme
- Characteristics and classification of sports games. Coach. Introduction to sports games: methodological directions. Technical regulations. Conventional graphic symbols.
For each discipline, the following topics will be dealt with:
FOOTBALL
Getting to know the game. Introduction to the game
Individual technique: dominating and guiding the ball, receiving and kicking the ball, the header, the throw-in and the save
Applied technique: passing the ball, shooting at goal, marking, control and defense of the ball; feinting and dribbling
Team cooperation: playing 2 vs 1, 2 vs 2, 3 vs 2, 4 vs 4: attack and defense
General notions of attack and defense
BASKETBALL
Getting to know the game. Introduction to the game
Individual technique: getting and throwing the ball, passing the ball, bouncing, individual defense.
Playing 1 vs 1 (attack and defense)
Team cooperation : games for two (attack and defense), games for three (attack and defense)
General notions about the main defense and attack systems
VOLLEYBALL
Getting to know the game. Introduction to the game
Individual technique: bouncing, the forearm pass and its different executions, serving and receiving: simple schemes
Applied technique: attack times, single and double block
Organization: reception, setting, attack and covering
Organization: serving, blocking, defense, attack and covering Didactic methods
- frontal lecture and pratical activity
Learning assessment procedures
- Written exam and practical test
Written test: a single test consisting of six open questions (space of 10 lines in response, duration one hour). Each application shall be assessed up to 5 points on the basis of clarity and comprehensiveness of the topic.
Practical test: a test for each sport in order to verify the knowledge and expertise in teaching of three skills listed in the program (duration 20 minutes).
The final score is derived from the average of the scores obtained in each examination. Reference texts
