Training objectives
- Selecting, administering, and interpreting tests designed to assess each component of physical fitnessn in order to improve exercise capacity of healthy people as well subjects with chronic diseases.
Prerequisites
- Essentials of functional anatomy, physics, biochemistry, and applied physiology.
Course programme
- General principles of Exercise Testing.
Preliminary health screening.
Assessing cardiorespiratory fitness
Assessing Strength and muscular endurance
Assessing body composition
Assessing Flexibility
Assessing ebergy expenditure Didactic methods
- Lectures and practical human performance lab sessions
Learning assessment procedures
- Written examination. 20 open questions, and 5 levels: 0.3, fair; 0.6, modest; 0.9, sufficient; 1.2, good; 1.5, excellent. The final score will be the sum of each answers. Intermediate scores are possible according to the contents of the answers.
