Training objectives
- The course covers the basic topics on Calculus I, and provides to students the notions of numerical sets, functions of one variable, limits, derivatives and integrals. At the end of the course, the students will be able to analyzing function and graphs of functions of one variable.
Prerequisites
- Equivalent ratios, and basic knowledge of linear and quadratic equations and inequations.
Course programme
- Basic concepts on numerical sets, logic, real number, maximum element of a set. Functions of one variables and graphing of functions, limits, continuity, asymptotes, definition of derivative and derivative of functions. Definition of definite and indefinite integrals, area and estimating with finite sums, integrals of functions.
Didactic methods
- The course is structured with class lectures and practical exercises on all topics.
Learning assessment procedures
- The final exam is a written test with exercises and questions on all topics of the course.
